The Price of Freedom

Ethiopians commemorated yesterday the massacre of 30,000 of their fellow citizens in 1937 at the hands of the invading Italian army following the attempted assassination of the Italian Viceroy to East Africa, Marshal Rodolfo Graziani. Held at the statue of martyrs at Sidist kilo, the ‘Yekatit 12’ commemoration was attended by Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie.
