The 15th edition of the Addis Ababa City Cup final is set to take place at Bahir Dar stadium. The cup, which has been taking place at Abebe Bikila stadium since September 25 with eight clubs participating, will come to end in Bahir Dar.
The Amhara Regional Football Federation officially requested that the final match between Defense and Bahir Dar City be played at the Bahir Dar International Stadium, a letter from the General Secretary indicates.
The regional football federation also pointed out that a friendly match between Fasil Kenema and Ethiopia Coffee will be held at Bahir Dar stadium.
A request was made that the stadium’s revenue be given to the people displaced from their homes as a result of the war between the Central government and the TPLF.
Furthermore, the runners-up match between St. George and Jimma Aba Jiffar will be held at Bahir Dar stadium.
Eight clubs participated in the 15th edition of the Addis Ababa city cup. Addis Ababa, Defense, Ethiopia Coffee, Jimma Aba Jiffar, Fasil Kenema, St. George, and Adama City football clubs were among the clubs that competed in the cup.
