    Aiming to break the record

Walias and Dedebit striker Getaneh Kebede is on the way of making history by breaking Yordanos Abay’s 24 goals in a season record in the Ethiopian Premier League. The former Bidvest Wits striker has been instrumental for second placed Dedebit scoring 21 goals; just three goals shy of breaking the national league record. The 26-year-old will be hoping to equal or set a new league record in the remaining three matches against Adama City, Sidama Coffee and Woliata Dicha. According to rumors, Getaneh will be looking to moving to a Portuguese club next season.
