Deadly trash

More than 110 people died after the colossal Koshe landfill, which has been around for decades servicing Addis Ababa, collapsed on Saturday night. The landslide devoured makeshift homes and waste pickers alike. The deaths have left the victims’ families and Addis Ababans heartbroken.
