ABBOTT and the National Blood Bank have organized a festival dedicated to promote the tradition of donating blood. The “Be the 1” campaign will take place on June 25, 2022, at Meskel square, featuring musical performances from well-known and beloved artists like Yohana, kassmasse and other engaging activities.
Social media influencers will also be at the event promoting the act of donating blood in a time of need. The festival is free for anyone interested.

Jog and pick
The people behind The Great Ethiopian Run have yet again brought an impactful event, The Jog and Pick day. Set for June 25, 2022, at Entoto Park, the team is taking anyone interested for a jog around the park, while picking up any and all trash along the way, in an eco-conscious event hell-bent in cleaning the park.
The free event will start at the crack of dawn, 12:30 local time.
