Developing Story: Parliament forms investigation board for Amhara emergency decree

The House of Peoples’ Representatives has formed a seven-member investigation inquiry board to look into the state of emergency decree being implemented in the Amhara region.

Azmera Andemo, a member of parliament, will chair the investigation board. Nejat Girma, also an MP, will serve as the deputy chairperson.

The board has been tasked with investigating the implementation of the State of Emergency across Amhara region.
