PM announces latest cabinet reshuffle

Aisha Mohammed (Eng.) has been reappointed to the post of Minister of Defense in the latest round of shuffling in the Prime Minister’s cabinet.

She had been serving as minister of Lowlands and Irrigation – a position now held by former Defense Minister Abrham Belay (PhD). He headed the Defense Ministry during the two-year northern war.

Mohammed Indris (PhD) has been chosen to head the Democratic System Building Center with the rank of state minister. The Center was previously led by Adem Farah, deputy chair of the incumbent Prosperity Party.
