The House of People’s Representatives today unanimously voted on a motion to scrap three political groups from terrorists list.
The motion for the removal of Patriots Ginbot 7, Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) materialized due to the willingness of the political organizations to participate in the country’s politics in a peace full manner.
The three political organizations were labeled terrorists by the House of People’s Representatives back in 2011 along with Al Qaeda and Al Shabaab.
