Bereket Simon et al replaced on Dashen’s Board

Bereket Simon, Tadesse Kassa and Wendwosen Kebede, who had served on the Dashen Breweries’ Board for six years, have been replaced.  The Board Chairman of Dashen Breweries SC, David Hampshire, announced on July 26, 2018 that the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of three new members. The appointments are effective from 14/5/2018.

Ahmed Abitew, former Minister for Ministry of Industry, and currently Director of Policy Study and Research Center; Yinager Dese (PhD), former Minister for National Planning Commission, and currently Governor of National Bank of Ethiopia, and Amlaku Asres (PhD), former Executive Director of ORDA and current CEO of TIRET Corporate have joined the Board of Directors of Dashen Breweries.

“We are delighted to have found three such excellent leaders to be appointed to the Board. With multiple years of experience in leadership roles, it is expected that the new Board members will make a significant contribution to the development and future success of Dashen Breweries,” a press release, sent to The Reporter, stated.

They join the existing Board members, Henry Gabay, Jacques Fragis and Pedro Lotra who represent Dashen’s global partners.
