PM sets advisory council for privatization
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has set up a council that will advice the partial or full transfer of public enterprises to private ownership. The advisory “council will ensure the process is managed with utmost transparency and accountability,” according to the twitter account of Fitsum Arega, the Chief of Staff of the PM.
Accordingly, Eyesuswork Zafu, Zellamen Melesse, Alemayehu Seyoum (PhD), Meaza Birru, Bekele Gelleta, Abebe Aemerosellasie, Lidetu Ayalew, Beyene Petros (Prof.), Bekele Gerba, Sara Abera, Aynalem Megersa (PhD), Tegaye Berehe (PhD), Tenagnewerk Getu (PhD), Kassi Kebede, Girma Seifu, Lencho Batti, Abraham Tekeste (PhD), Yinager Dessie (PhD), Teklewold Atnafu and Girma Birru (Amb.) were elected to serve as members of the council.
