Ethiopian Airlines to resume flights to two cities in Amhara region
After briefly cancelling all flights to four cities in the conflict-ridden #Amhara region for security reasons, Ethiopian Airlines is resuming services to two of the cities starting tomorrow, August 10, 2023.
The national carrier announced today that flights to #Bahir-Dar and #Gondar will operate as scheduled starting Thursday. #Ethiopian-Airlines had cancelled flights to the Amhara cities - which also include #Dessie and #Lalibela - just the day before on August 8, due to the ongoing fighting in parts of the #Amhara region under a state of emergency.
