The Olympic Games are the largest sporting spectacles globally. There are 39 days to go before the 2016 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, are due to take place from August 5 to 16 in Brazil, which is finalizing last-minute preparations to welcome athletes and spectators from all over the world.
