Letter to the Editor

When in Africa, do as the Chinese do – in China

For 99.9 percent of foreigners working (studying) and living in China, this singular opportunity can only be realized under the complete control of the Chinese government. A message to my Oromo brothers

Rivers may stop flowing and the rain may fail to pour down but our history of love remains forever in our hearts. Oromo people have been our neighbors and our reliable brothers and sisters when crisis arise; however, nowadays, those who do not want peace are trying to take peace away from us.

Connecting inner and outer worlds

A new dawn in Ethiopia

The long awaited election to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Prime Minister Hailemariam Dessalegn is finally over with the election of Abiy Ahmed (PhD) to the chairmanship of the EPRDF party, at the end of the day ushering him as the next Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Some considerations on the subject of constructing a refinery in Ethiopia

Dear Editor, I would like to addresses the views of our company – National Oil Ethiopia PLC (NOC) – on the recent news article published in The Reporter, Vol. XXII No. 1114 on January 13, 2018 web and print versions about a plan to build an oil refinery in Ethiopia by Fairfax Africa Fund, a US-based investment firm.
