Former national team coach passes away

The former national team Coach, Seyom Abate has passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2018. Coach Seyom was in a hospital for a long time receiving treatment for a cardiac, Lung infection and other relative health issues. He was in Thailand for additional medical treatments.

Great Ethiopian Run, Children’s’ race to take place next month

The 2018 Plan International Children’s race and ‘RUNNING FOR A CAUSE’ official charity campaign for the 2018 TOTAL Great Ethiopian Run was launched on Thursday October 4, 2018, in Hilton hotel. Over 3500 children aged U-11 in both sexes will be expected to take part in the race on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Eight teams to compete in Addis Ababa City Cup

The 13th edition of the Addis Ababa City Cup is set to start with the opening match between Defense FC and Electric on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Addis Ababa stadium.  Three of the city-based teams, four regional and one from abroad are grouped to faceoff in the national stadium in the coming weeks.
