AEUP elects Mamushet Amare as chairman
The All Ethiopian Union Party (AEUP), which was conducting its general assembly in the presence of 459 members last weekend, elected Mamushet Amare as the new chairman of the party while Abraham Getu was elected as the deputy chairman, The Reporter has learnt.

The All Ethiopian Union Party (AEUP) has stated that its members and supporters are being subjected to arbitrary killings, gross human right violations and detentions in Gofa Zone of the Southern regional state.In addition, the party also demanded the government to take all necessary measures to stop these wrongdoings.
Blue ceases its existence
In a bid to form a nationwide, unified and strong opposition political party together with other like-minded opposition parties; the general assembly of the Semayawi Party a.k.a. Blue has decided to cease the existence of the party as of December 30, 2018, Getaneh Balcha, vice chairman of the party told The Reporter.
AEUP calls for intervention to stabilize market
The All Ethiopian Unity Party (AEUP) in its latest press briefing stated that the recent price increment on the tenants of the Federal Housing Corporation is unacceptable and the price hike might be related to those groups trying to sabotage the ongoing reform. Hence, the government should discard the price increment unconditionally, the party requested.
