Attorney General’s list of detainees in relation to human rights abuses

The Federal Attorney General Birhanu Tsegaye announced yesterday that 63 individuals have been detained in relation to corruption and human rights abuses. Today the Federal Attorney General released list of the detainees suspected of alleged human rights abuses and corruption. Below is the list of individuals detained for alleged human rights abuses.

Former Director General of the Metals and Engineering Corporation (MetEC), Kinfe Dagnew (Brig. Gen) has been arrested in Humera Tigray Regional State according to state media. This comes after the Federal Attorney General announced that 63 individuals from the National Intelligence and Security Service have been detained for alleged human rights violence and grand corruption.
