NEBE investigating complaints
The National Election Board of Ethiopia confirmed receipt of numerous complaints following the national elections and announced it is investigating those that can potentially alter the results.
Ethiopia votes on Monday
Ethiopians will head to the polls as early as 6:00 o’clock on Monday to cast their votes for 12 hours. Some 37,408,600 voters have been registered for this year’s general elections, accounting for 74.8 percent of the original plan set by the Board.
Commission urges law enforcement to respect rights
The Ethiopia Human Rights Commission (EHRC) warned regional and federal law enforcement bodies to show maximum restraint from violating human rights in anyway, when millions of citizens go to polls to cast their votes.

Balderas is set to withdraw its petition seeking the suspension of the sixth general elections due to be held on June 21, 2021 following the issuance of certificates of candidacy to its leaders Eskinder Nega, Sintayehu Chekol, Keleb seyoum and Askale Demele.
INSA warns against cyber attacks
The Information Network Security Agency (INSA) warned of the possibility of different groups launching a cyber attack as the second round water filling of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and the sixth general elections approach.
