Discrimination allegation hits Ethiopian

Ethiopian Airlines stands accused of discrimination by a Kenyan disability rights activist. The airliner, on response to The Reporter, refused to directly confirm or deny the accusations; but it expressed regret about the incident and said that “it will continue to reach out to the customer and make amends”.  

Blake Emergency concludes search of Boeing Max victims

Blake Emergency Services, retained by Ethiopian Airlines several months ago, has finally concluded its search and has written to families of the doomed Boeing 737 Max Jet that crashed in route to Nairobi earlier this year; asking whether they want properties belonging to the deceased be handed to them or whether it should disposed them of on their behalf.

In the early morning of Sunday March10, 2019, Yared Getachew(Capt.), 28, who was in command of the ill-fated Ethiopian Boeing 737-8MAX jetliner phoned his mother who lives in Nairobi, Kenya to tell her that he was coming home. Sadly he could not make it.

Officials deport Chinese flight attendantover property destruction

A Chinese national contracted to work for Ethiopian Airlines as a flight attendant in a position of trainee was deported from Addis Ababa last night amid accusation of property destruction in a feat of rage, The Reporter has learnt.
