OLF protests army deployment in west Oromia

In a conflict that erupted in West Oromia, Qellem Wellega zone, the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF)/ABO – whose supporters are alleged to be active in those areas – protested against the deployment of the national army by the government, The Reporter has learnt.

OLF says it is working to disarm soldiers

The Oromo Liberation Front (OLF)/ABO which is said to have around 4,300 soldiers in the country and of which only 1,500 have disarmed thus far, told The Reporter this week that it is working with authorities to fully disarm its fighters and further its peaceful engagement in the political space in Ethiopia.

AG charges alleged OLF operatives for explosives attack

GoE, OLF reach reconciliation agreement

After a meeting that was held between the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) and the Government of Ethiopia (GoE), an agreement has been reached today in Asmara, the capital of Eritrea, for the former to come to Ethiopia and engage in the country’s political activities peacefully.
