CoM endorses bill to amend Commercial code

After decades of enforcement, the Council of Ministers (CoM) has endorsed a new draft bill to amend the Commercial Code of Ethiopia which proposes some sections of the Code to be governed under a separate legislation.

Canada’s Trudeau to visit Ethiopia

With a successful re-election under wraps, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to visit Addis Ababa. This would be a belated visit having been paused when the Prime Minister became embroiled in a political crisis at home that ultimately reduced his majority status to that of a minority.
